We use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology. We use high-quality inks that won’t fade for a long time if taken care of properly.

  • Machine-wash cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary.
  • Do not use fabric softeners or dry-clean.
  • Tumble-dry on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best.
  • Iron inside-out on cool — do not iron the print.

Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment.

I currently sell my printed patterns on my website in collaboration with Wyldwod Creative. All shipping of printed patterns will be handled by our WWC friends, so you may receive your products separately and in non-Toad & Sew packing materials. If you’re a shop looking to sell my patterns wholesale, please check out my wholesale order page!

While I typically keep my testing circle small and closed, I’m always open to connecting with folks who have a genuine interest in testing my patterns. If that sounds like you, feel free to reach out via email at hello@toadandsew.com — I’d love to hear from you!

I have a Juki TL201Q. It typically costs between $900–$1,200. It is ONLY straight-stitch and semi-industrial. If you are looking for something with no-frills, I highly recommend it!

I also have a Janome Memory Craft 6700P. It runs around ~$2,500–$2,700. This is a great companion machine with a huge throat space equipped for all your sewing needs.

In general, I don’t typically sell my handmade quilts. However, I do offer a very limited selection of semi-customizable sample quilts from time to time. The best way to stay in the loop about new quilt releases is to sign up for my newsletter!

Yep! You’re welcome to sell quilts made from my patterns on a small, individual scale. Just make sure to credit me and Toad & Sew as the designer. If you’d like to use any of my photos to help promote your work, go for it — just be sure to include proper credit. Please note: the patterns themselves can’t be resold or shared in any form.

I spend a lot of time figuring out the measurements and sizes for all of my patterns. Most of the time there is a reason why I offered the sizes I did. If you would like to resize any of my patterns I cannot help you do that. Since most of my patterns are not block-based, resizing can be tricky and will fall on you if you would like a different size than one that’s clearly listed in the pattern!

Toad Circle is a creative community where quilting meets book club fun. Four times a year, we kick off an 8-week journey that combines reading with a Mystery Quilt Sew Along. It’s designed for quilters of all skill levels and backgrounds, with space for introverts and extroverts alike. Along the way, you’ll find encouragement, connection, and a few surprise treats. Each session is a chance to sew, read, and share in a supportive group that celebrates both hobbies together.

Yes! We have a free Toad & Sew Facebook community group that’s open to everyone. It’s a great space to connect with fellow quilters, ask questions, and get a little extra help along the way.

But if you’re looking for something more lively and interactive, our Toad Circle Discord Member (Lurker Tier) is where the real magic happens. For a small monthly subscription, you’ll get access to our private Discord server — full of quilting chat, book recs, TV talk, and friendly connection with other makers.
